Visiting Atlanta soon? I doubt you'll find a more "t-friendly" environment elsewhere in America.  As the home of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. - Atlanta has developed a colorful history of "accepting" all people - the way they were born. Here you'll find my local favorites for shopping and night clubbing.  Once you've decided on a "course of pleasure" - I'd suggest using Yahoo's "map service" to identify your kind of accommodations nearest your plans. Have fun!
