  transsexualism in a new millennium

Section Contents: Welcome to the newest chapter of reneereyes.com. It'll be a work in progress so please remain patient. Notably - I'm going to alternate between publishing original content in this department with updating the Admirer's Handbook - until both are completed.

Surgical Transition

There's a lot of ways to change your appearance: you can alter your hairstyle, adjust your make-up, or tighten your loins with improved diet & fitness. However, if you're like most tranz-females - your gender switch is probably going to include some cosmetic surgery. Here you'll discover my experiences with body modifications plus what I'd do differently. Includes:

In a perfect world?

Transgender people attend qualified gender counseling, confirm their status as transsexual, subsequently follow exact standards of care...and eventually transition to happy & successful tranz-women.

Alas, we don't live in fantasy land.

Girls now secretly begin transition right under their wife's noses: hormone replacement therapy begins with the click of-a-mouse. We quickly learn the short-list of doctors that'll perform body & facial feminization without any recommendation letter from a licensed counselor.

SRS? It's available with minimal prerequisite.

And where would we be without our silly-putty: injectible silicone...for whatever a girl can't afford to have done otherwise.

Most gender resources are stuck in perfect-world prerequisites. I'm not going to do that. Likewise, if you talk with other tranz-women: you'll often be convinced you're the only one not doing-it-right. Guess what? Lots of girls develop selective memory when it comes to an honest retrospective of transition.

Know what else?

I've been one of those liars.

I promised to truthfully detail my experiences with transition. This new section is all about fulfilling that commitment.

I'm not tackling every detail of transition. Other sites pull that off better than I could dream. Rather, I'm exploring subjects I found most important during my odyssey. Likewise, I'm including solutions to issues I found troublesome.

Finally, I'm incorporating a virtual bible of essential links to other sites that'll make your journey more likely to succeed.

Hope you find it useful...
