birthday photos: 6/1/08

Trekked to downtown Decatur this morning with my dear friend Kristin. She's moving to that area next month so we drove around, checked out her new digs, and even explored fresh options where we might now hang our hats during our weekly visits for coffee. It's such a neat area & I know she'll enjoy her new home.

Kristin brought her camera along today & was kind enough to shoot this month's "photo of the month" plus a few others. She runs one of the most successful wedding photography businesses in the Atlanta area: Imedia Images. If you ever need professional photographs for a wedding (don't we all wish we needed those...*laugh*) or require select personal pictures...Kristin's rates & skills are without parallel.

On another good note?

I turn forty-seven on Tuesday, June 3rd. The good news is that I'm now the healthiest I've ever been: emotionally, spiritually, & physically. I recognize that at my age - outer beauty - is becoming a declining proposition. However, I'm discovering that my increasing joyfulness is releasing an inner beauty which radiates regardless of any new wrinkles in my skin. Yeah, I know...it's a stretch. *Laugh* Sounded good though, didn't it? I can talk myself into just about anything. *Grin*

Seriously, I now appreciate and find joy in everything I have versus fretting over all that I don't possess. Naturally, I still have lots of goals & aspirations.

However, when it comes to happiness?

I'm already there...
